The WSOP also has plans to introduce Main Event and online bracelet satellites beginning in March.
Last year at the Rio, single-table satellites would run once a table filled, and there were several regularly scheduled satellite tournaments. We can expect the live satellite schedule closer to WSOP kickoff in May.
Palansky also indicated the return of the popular 25 Seat Scramble would be once again making an appearance online this summer closer to the start of the Main Event.
Local Card Room Tournaments
Card rooms have been known to offer tournaments and other qualifying events. It’s always exciting to send local players to Nevada to represent their hometown. Some of these tournaments happen in conjunction with the WSOP, and some are a product of the casino.
Check with your local card room for their plans to offer satellites into the Main Event or other bracelet events.
